Gus Koernig is an award-winning journalist who has worked for TV and radio stations, newspapers and wire services for more than 35 years. He covered conditions in Russia during the first months after the collapse of the Soviet Union, and wrote and produced a half-hour program on Russia which was broadcast in the U.S. and throughout Russia.
